Meet the Spartans is a 2008 American parody film written and directed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer. The film is mainly a parody of the 2006 film 300, although it also references many other films, TV shows, people and pop cultural events of the time, in a manner similar to previous films that Friedberg and Seltzer had been involved in such as Scary Movie, Date Movie and Epic Movie. The film stars Sean Maguire, Carmen Electra and Kevin Sorbo.

The plot of the film follows the heroic Spartan king Leonidas, armed with nothing but leather underwear and a cape, who leads a ragtag group of 13 Spartans to defend their homeland against the invading Persians, whose ranks include the Ghost Rider, Rocky Balboa, the Transformers, and a hunchbacked Paris Hilton. The film is filled with crude and sexual humor, comic violence, and pop culture references.
The film was released on January 25, 2008 in the United States and received extremely negative reviews from critics, who criticized its lowbrow humor, lack of originality, and poor production values. The film was also nominated for six Golden Raspberry Awards, including Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay, Worst Supporting Actress (Electra), Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel, and Worst Screen Couple (the entire cast). However, the film was a box-office success, grossing $84.6 million worldwide on a budget of $30 million.
The film was dubbed in Hindi and released in India under the title "Sparta Ka Maha Yudh" (Sparta's Great War).
